It's Official: AT&T Will Throttle Your Unlimited Data Plan

AT&T on Thursday put limits on its Unlimited Data plans, slowing speeds for 3G and 4G customers who exceed 3 GB in a billing cycle and capping 4G LTE customers at 5 GB. On a support page explaining the move, the carrier stressed that “you’ll still be able to use as much data as you want”.
Seems better than the nebulous “95%” they had been using. Still, all of the phone companies talk about their “blazing speeds” but it’s kind of like a fuel dragster with a gallon of gas. You’ll get to the end of the quarter mile fast…but that’s about it for the month. - Waterman12053
